One Month Anniversary!

We celebrated our one month anniversary on Monday. We went to dinner at Carino's and then came home and ate the top of our wedding cake. I had heard from so many people that it tastes awful on your one year anniversary, and since I only got ONE bite at the wedding I really wanted to taste it! Besides, you can always order another one for your one year anniversary :) So here is what we have been up to for our first month as a married couple......

We came back from our honeymoon and I immediately began unpacking all of our wonderful wedding gifts that have been sitting in our dining room for months...I had a very cute helper!

                                          

We got to Celebrate with my Best Friend Jennifer and Josh on their Engagement July 15th. We are so excited for them and can't wait for their destination wedding :)

We got to go to the Lake with Rod's Family and had a nice relaxing weekend

We finally got Dining Room furniture after almost a whole year of having an empty room.....I love it!

We painted our bedroom(with a little help from my parents), but are still working on decor for the walls. I didn't realize this bedding was going to be so girly, but I love it....Sorry Rod!

                                 

We also spent some time at the pool with friends. Carter and Jenn came over to "swim" at our Community pool. They have a wonderful swimming pool and splash park for the kiddos. We had a great time. When we got home Jenn was changing Carter out of his swimsuit and diaper and just when she got everything off he decided he had to tinkle....luckily he was on our tile floor in the Kitchen :) So funny!!
