Iced in Day 4!!

I have never seen anything like it. I told some of my fellow teachers that I was really hoping to get at least one snow day this week and I got 4!!! I am so glad that we only have to make two of them up. So I always used to hear about people being snowed in for days at a time, and I always thought it would be fun, not so much anymore!!! Rod has had to go to work everyday this week and it is definitely no fun being iced in and HOME ALONE :( Day 1 one was spent doing absolutely nothing, well not nothing, I watched a whole lot of Sex and the City and Real Housewives of NY Re-runs and I ate a lot (a whole lot) Rodney came home at the end of Day 1 and took me and Brooke(my neighbor) to Walmart. We stocked up on Red Box DVD's and food, not meals, just junk food. This week I watched.......

The Town with Ben Affleck...loved it!

Charlie St. Cloud.....didn't love it!

And last Rod and I watched The Social Network.....was just okay, it got so many nominations so I expected it to be awesome!

Day 2 started off very productive but slowly went downhill after lunch time. I spent the morning cleaning up the kitchen, washing a load of laundry, filing papers in the office, and vacuuming the house. Once all that was finished I figured I had been productive enough for a snow day so I took a little nap.

Day 3 was when I started to get really tired of being in the house and I decided I had to get out! I headed out to Target to pick out some baby stuff for my 2 friends that have baby showers coming up this month. I spent about 2 hours in Target, not because I was busy shopping, I just didn't want to go home! The roads weren't too bad in our area, so it was nice to get out even if it was only for a couple of hours. I got a text from my friend Jolene to meet her Friday for lunch and was all excited about having somewhere to go, when I woke up to this this morning........

The weathermen said that we would get a light dusting of snow, they were very wrong! Normally, I would be excited about this much snow, but I am so OVER IT! And to think that temps were 70 degrees less than a week ago. So since I can't get out again yet another day I decided to be productive. I am going to do our taxes, organize the pantry and closet, figure out what to make for our Superbowl party, maybe do another blog post about whats been going on since christmas(check back, it might happen :), and finish my book I started at Christmas.....

As I googled the image for the book, I just saw this.......Can't wait!!!!

Hope everyone else has enjoyed their days at home!
