I was very sad to see that Addison's 3 month blog that I had started and never published somehow disappeared :( So I guess we will combine 3 & 4 months together!
Addison's 3rd month was my last month to stay home with her. We tried to get in as many lunches with family and friends, shopping trips, doctors appointments, play time, cuddle time, and nap time as we could. Addy met the Easter Bunny for the first time and had her picture taken with him. She became very social this month. She really started smiling that 3rd month and cooing back and forth with us! She began physical therapy this month and loves her physical therapist Miss Erin. It is only 30 minutes once a week and she does different stretches to help with her torticollis. She tolerates the therapy pretty well, until she gets tired and then she is DONE!!!
She just recently started laughing in the last few weeks and it is just the cutest thing ever. She really is a happy baby! Her babysitter, Megan, commented that she is just so content to sit and watch everything that is going on around her. Megan also said that we might be crazy to have another baby, cause there is no way that he/she would be as good as Addison. Yikes, the thought of another baby right now exhausts me anyways. Even though Addy is a great sleeper, I have become quite the opposite and every little sound now wakes me up, and I am no good at going right back to sleep. This has made for a few sleepy days at work. Addy now sleeps about 7-8 hours at night. We put her to bed at 9 or 9:30 and then I wake her up and feed her at 5:30am. After she takes her bottle she sits in the nap nanny while I get ready for work. On weekends she will go anywhere from 8-10 hours at night without waking.
She will be getting her helmet to fix the flat side of her head in a few days. We decided to go ahead and start the process a little bit earlier than most people do. The earlier you start the less time she has to be in the helmet. They are projecting about 6 weeks right now (more or less). She will wear it 23 hours a day only taking it off to bathe. We are very excited to get the process started and finished :) It requires weekly appointments to have the helmet re-shaped and luckily we were able to have afternoon appointments so that I don't have to miss any work.
She had her very first cold with a fever of 101. It happened after 4 days of daycare, but luckily it was on Good Friday and I was off work so I was able to stay home with her. The fever was gone and she was back to normal within a day or two. It is amazing how fast she is growing and how quickly time is flying. At her 4 month check up she weighed in at 11 pounds 7 ounces and was 24 1/4 inches long! Here is her 4 month pic...
