Well I mentioned in our 8 month post that we didn't have too many milestones.....well she saved them all up for this 9 month post!!
We have a crawler!!!! Shortly after turning 8 months Addy started crawling and never looked back. The day of her 8 month birthday at her physical therapy session her therapist predicted that she would be crawling within the next week. And sure enough about 6 days later she took her first little crawl :) It took her about a week to 10 days to really figure it out, but she did and hasn't slowed down one bit! About a week after really figuring out the crawling she began pulling up. She has only figured out how to get to her knees, but I am sure she will be standing in no time!!
Addison also debuted 2 new pearly whites this month!! Those long awaited first two bottom teeth finally came in while we were in Dallas. She had some fussy moments, but it could have been due to the fact that we cart that baby girl everywhere when we are in Dallas. Places to go and people to see, and poor girl rarely gets a good nap for the 5 days we are there.
She's really started to like the Puffs, and we tried some yogurt melts the other day too! She still has a hard time getting things from her fingers to her mouth, but she is getting better!
She is starting to give big open-mouth, slobbery kisses! She loves to play with her hair and rub her head during her bottles. She also started making this adorable clicking sound.! She is into everything!!!! She still freaks out when I leave the room, which makes for me not able to get much done around here, unless she is napping.
She weighed in at 16lbs 9 oz and was 27.5 inches long at her 9 month check up. She was in the 20th percentile for weight and the 75th for height. We started feeding her every 4 hours this month, because she wasn't seeming as hungry and was playing with her bottles towards the end. She is getting 7 oz at 8 am, 12 pm, 4 pm, and 8 pm. She is also getting 1-2 servings of baby food a day. She tried some meats this month and one of my favorites...macaroni and cheese!!! She doesn't get too enthusiastic about eating, but she finishes all of it most of the time.
She is in 9 month clothing and we have finally started wearing shoes more often, but she has the tiniest feet ever, she is in a size 1 (0-3 months). It's crazy how small they are. She is in size 3 diapers!
She is learning to wave and clap. It's pretty cute because a lot of the time she does them both together. She starts off with a wave and then immediately goes into clapping. She is so fun at this age!
Still no mama or dada's yet, but we are waiting patiently :) She is really fixated on the "g" sound, but the pediatrician didn't seem to worried. She just wants to have one word (other than mama or dada) by the time she is a year (or 13 months for her adjusted age)
Can't wait to see what this next month holds!!
